One point of contact, a clear quote, a house clearance managed from start to finish.

In what situations should you call on our house clearance service?

A house clearance is often a demanding step, both physically and emotionally. We are called in particularly in the following cases:
  • -Inheritance / bereavement: clearing a loved one's home without having to manage everything yourself.
  • -Moving house: quickly freeing up a property to put back on the market or hand back to the owner.
  • -Selling or letting a property: getting the house or flat clean and empty before viewings.
  • -Moving into a care home: sorting, clearing and keeping only what is essential.
  • -Renovation work: emptying the rooms to allow the work to take place.
  • -Heavily cluttered or uninhabitable home: full takeover of a property that is too difficult to manage alone.
Whatever the situation, we work with discretion, respect and efficiency, always keeping the human dimension of this kind of job in mind.

What we clear for you

Our house clearance service covers all spaces and all types of items: every area of your property — house, flat, duplex, building — as well as cellars, attics, utility rooms, garages, storage areas, workshops and, finally, professional premises, warehouses, offices and shared building areas.
All types of items and bulky waste
  • -Furniture: wardrobes, beds, mattresses, bed bases, tables, chairs, sofas, sideboards…
  • -Household appliances & electronics: fridge, freezer, cooker, washing machine, TV, computers, small appliances…
  • -Everyday items: crockery, decorations, ornaments, books, clothing, toys, clutter accumulated over the years.
  • -Archives & documents: boxes, files, miscellaneous paperwork (with secure disposal if required).
  • -Waste and rubble: leftover building materials, old materials, wood, doors, window frames, etc.
On request, we can dismantle large items of furniture and organise sorting to distinguish what can still be reused or donated from what needs to be disposed of.

How does a house clearance with De fond en comble work?

For you, everything is straightforward and structured. Here are the main steps:

1. First contact & quote request
You contact us by phone or via the online form with a few details: address of the property, type of home (house, flat, building…), number of rooms and outbuildings (cellar, attic, garage…), general condition (very cluttered, uninhabitable, standard…). We respond quickly to your request and arrange an on-site visit if necessary.

2. On-site visit & assessment
During the visit, we assess the volume to be removed, identify any valuable items to be set aside, check access routes (stairs, lift, courtyard, narrow street…) and plan the equipment needed (team size, vehicle, possible hoist lift). You then receive a detailed, free and no-obligation quote with a clear and transparent price.

3. Scheduling the job
Once the quote is accepted, we set an intervention date that fits your schedule. Thanks to our flexible organisation, we offer fast time slots and adapt to your constraints.

4. Full house clearance: sorting, clearing, removal
We protect access routes where needed, empty the property room by room from cellar to attic, carry out selective sorting (items to keep, donate, recycle or dispose of) and load the furniture, objects and waste into our vehicles for transport to approved processing centres. You do not need to carry, dismantle or organise anything: we manage the entire job.

5. Final clean
Once the clearance is complete, we carry out a full clean (sweeping, removal of residue, tidying up). Your property is then clean, empty and ready for sale, rental, an inventory inspection or renovation work.
